Actors sometimes ask about registering with Sien Josephine Casting, so we’d like to clarify that we do not represent or manage talent. We are a casting company focused on selecting the right performers for each production. While we may occasionally assist productions with practical matters like contracts, we are always working on behalf of production and never involved in representing actors or handling individual negotiations.

We search widely across professional casting platforms such as Filmmakers and In The Picture, and actively collaborate with talent agents, drama schools, and other networks. Depending on the needs of a project, we may also organise open calls to reach new and underrepresented talent. This means visibility on these platforms and responsiveness to open calls are key. We strongly encourage actors to keep their profiles up to date — including recent headshots, credits, and agent (or direct) contact details — to ensure we see the most accurate version of your work when casting.

We regularly receive emails from actors introducing themselves or sharing updated materials. While we truly appreciate the interest, and every email is read, noted, and kept on file (unless otherwise requested), we’re not always able to respond personally due to the volume.
