Sien Josephine founded her own company in 2015. She is a Belgium-based, Artios-nominated casting director working across film and television and has collaborated with both emerging and established filmmakers on national and international projects, often from early development onwards. She is known for building casts rooted in authenticity, care and a deep understanding of story.

Sien Josephine combines creative and strategic casting, regularly becoming involved early in the process. Alongside building casts with care and attention, she works on strategic attachments, supporting projects as they move through development, financing and production. Her way of working is collaborative and intuitive, always guided by the needs of the story and the people involved. She places particular importance on ethical casting practices and on creating a respectful process for everyone involved.

Sien Josephine is actively involved in industry initiatives around casting and talent development. She serves on the board of Casting Society’s Global Chapter and the board of the Ostend Film Festival, and is a member of the European Film Academy and the International Casting Directors Association (ICDA).
